Lottie or animated SVG
A small vector file for a header or loading screen: Lottie for websites and apps, animated SVG when you want no player at all.
WORKFLOW · LOGO ANIMATION
Most logo animation makers drop your logo into somebody else's template. Ilo Animation animates the logo you drew: every letter, stroke and shape of your own file gets its own move, and you decide the timing.
01 — FROM FILE TO REVEAL
The SVG or the .ai file from your logo folder. In Illustrator, open the document and the panel reads it. Set Animate: Pieces so every letter and shape can move on its own.
The wordmark comes in letter by letter, outlines draw themselves, the symbol springs in. Press again for another take; the arrow next to Magic sets the mood (Clean, Playful, Bold, Dreamy, Glitch) and the pace.
Swap any move from the library: mask reveals, where letters rise from behind a line, springs, draw-ons, 3D flips. Drag blocks to change who comes first, and add a loop or an exit for a seamless loop.
02 — WHERE IT GOES
A small vector file for a header or loading screen: Lottie for websites and apps, animated SVG when you want no player at all.
Choose a transparent background and drop the logo over footage in an intro or an outro.
On your brand colour or gradient, at 1080 px, for a profile video, a story or a post.
For email signatures, slides and chats, where video does not play.
03 — QUESTIONS
In Pieces mode every separate shape moves on its own, so letters that are separate shapes animate one by one. If the whole logo is a single compound path, release it in Illustrator first, or animate it as one piece with a mask reveal.
Yes. Colours and linear and radial gradients are kept as they are in your file, and the Lottie and animated SVG stay vectors. A GIF can hold only 256 colours, so for smooth gradients use MP4 or WebM.
Yes. What you export is yours to deliver: the Lottie for their developer, MP4 for their social team.
